The son of former Russian player Alexander Zverev Snr, he turned professional in 2013 and won his first ATP Tour title in 2016, earning a top twenty ranking and beating a number of solid Tour players along the way.
Bet on Alexander Zverev
Zverev is tall, with a powerful serve, so would appear to be a natural for grass-court tennis. He’s yet to make an impact in a Grand Slam, so probably needs another season before he’s a realistic last eight Slam prospect, but back him to pick up two or three Tour titles in 2017.
Alexander Zverev odds
Zverev has earned a lot of attention in 2016 and it may be that bookmakers won’t take any chances when pricing him up in 2017. But as with any young player, he will be hard to weigh up, so if you catch him at the right time, you could get him at a good price.
